To ensure the effective implementation of the scheme, expert Project Implementing Agencies (PIAs) have been carefully selected to oversee its execution. These agencies play a crucial role in guiding and training the minority youth, helping them acquire the necessary skills to thrive in today’s competitive job market.
One of the key highlights of this scheme is its commitment to providing placements for trainees. The scheme guarantees a minimum placement rate of 75% for the trainees, out of which at least 50% of the placements are in the organized sector. This means that the scheme not only focuses on skill development but also emphasizes securing meaningful employment opportunities for the minority youth. In addition to “Seekho aur Kamao,” the state of Madhya Pradesh has also introduced the Mukhyamantri Seekho Kamao Yojana.
Under this initiative, the youth of the state are eligible to receive a monthly salary based on their qualifications. For instance, those who have passed ITI exams are entitled to a salary of ₹8,500, while diploma holders receive ₹9,000 per month. Moreover, youth pursuing higher education are provided with ₹8,000 per month based on their merit. The government also contributes ₹10,000 per month to support this scheme.
Through the Mukhyamantri Seekho Kamao Yojana, the government and private institutions in Madhya Pradesh have identified more than 700 different types of work for which they will provide comprehensive training to the youth of the state. This ensures that the youth have access to a wide range of training opportunities and can choose a field that aligns with their interests and aspirations.
