NORCET 5 Notification Educational Qualification

  • To be eligible for the Nursing Officer position, candidates must have completed either B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing or B.Sc. Nursing from an Institute or University recognized by the Indian Nursing Council or state Nursing Council. Alternatively, candidates can have a B.Sc. (Post-Certificate) or Post-Basic B.Sc. Nursing from an Institute or University recognized by the Indian Nursing Council or state Nursing Council.
  • The educational qualifications, candidates must be registered as Nurses & Midwives with the Indian Nursing Council or the State Nursing Council. This registration ensures that candidates have met the necessary standards and requirements set by the respective nursing councils.
  • Candidates who have completed a Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery from an Institute or Board or Council recognized by the Indian Nursing Council or state Nursing Council are also eligible. Similar to the previous requirement, candidates must be registered as Nurses & Midwives with the State or Indian Nursing Council.
  • To further demonstrate their qualifications, candidates must have at least two years of experience in a minimum 50 bedded Hospital after acquiring the educational qualification mentioned above.
