Gujarat University Admission Prospectus 2023-24 (UG & PG Courses)

  • To begin with, the Admission Committee meticulously prepares a merit list comprising the names of eligible students who have submitted their applications. This merit list is then promptly published on the Admission Committee’s website and through other convenient channels for easy access by the applicants.
  • Subsequently, the Admission Committee releases the schedule for the online counseling program either on its website or through advertisements in widely circulated newspapers across the state. This ensures that students are well-informed about the counseling process and can participate effectively.
  • During the online counseling process, students are required to list a minimum of 25 college preferences in the order of their program choices, including various university schools, departments, colleges, or institutions. This step allows students to prioritize their preferences based on their academic and personal interests.
  • Following this, a Provisional Merit List is generated based on factors such as merit, student category, and seat availability. In case any student identifies a discrepancy in their merit position, they are encouraged to reach out to the Admission Committee through the designated email address [email protected] with supporting evidence for resolution. Subsequently, the Final Merit List is compiled after addressing any discrepancies.
  • To secure admission, the student must present the allotment letter, fee receipt, original documents, and testimonials for verification at the designated college or institution within the stipulated timeframe. It is crucial for students to adhere to the specified deadline. Failure to provide the necessary documents within the prescribed time or submission of false documents will result in the cancellation of the admission offer.
